Admissions Process

  • Visit the school and collect an Admissions Pack

  • Complete the application form and give it, with all required documents, to the Registrar

  • An appointment will be made for candidates to sit an entrance test in English and Maths (in Early Years, an interview with a specialist teacher will replace the entrance test).

  • Application, including the entrance test results and previous school reports will be reviewed by the school and a decision made. The Registrar will inform the parents of the decision.

  • If the application is successful, a reservation fee must be paid to the Accountant to reserve a place.

  • The remainder of the fees will become due, on dates indicated by the school.

  • It is important to appreciate that the school, will indicate which Year Group the candidate will enter but NOT which class. The school reserves the right to place the child in the class that it deems most suitable.

Required Documents 

To admit your child to Cambridge English School, Hawally you are kindly requested to complete the attached application form. The following documents must be provided to complete registration:

  1. (3) Passport size photograph.

  2. Copy of birth certificate.

  3. Copy of civil ID card (student & parents)

  4. For Kuwaitis (copy of father’s nationality).

  5. For non-Kuwaitis (Copy of father’s passport with residence page).

  6. Transfer Certificate from previous school.

  7. Copy of last school report.

  8. Health file.

All students will be interviewed before acceptance. Students must take an entrance test in English & Maths from Year 1 to Year 12. The appropriate deposit must be paid for booking a place for students. Failure to do so will mean the place given will be offered to the next student on the waiting list.
